Your organizing experience starts with an Assessment & Blueprinting Session, during which we:
- List your organizing goals
- Identify the organizing challenges you face
- Conduct a "verbal tour" discussing what's working and what's not working for you
- Assess your space
- Learn about the Stages, Gears, Steps and FOCUS Principles of Organizing
- Complete the Life Change Checklist
- Create a BLUEPRINT for your overall organizing project
The BLUEPRINT outlines why you want to get organized. In it, we list the projects, processes, and tasks required to reach your goals (including errands and shopping if necessary).
Next, we roll up our sleeves and dive in, beginning to create physical change in your space. We clear the backlog and develop more effective, efficient systems and habits. Porter Knight guides you through the decision-making, and gives you confidence that you CAN do it. Porter also estimates how long it will take you to reach your goal.
At the end of the Assessment & Blueprinting Session, you'll know where you're going, how you're going to get there, and how long it will take. We finish by scheduling the necessary time to continue the project -- regardless of whether you embark on your own or in continued partnership with Porter Knight, LLC. You'll have the option to finish your project yourself, have a friend, family member, or employee help you, or continue to work side-by-side with Porter Knight, LLC.
