Experience

After years of creating order out of chaos at the request of friends and family, Porter founded Organized by Knight in 1996. Since then, she has been a frequent radio guest nationally and hosted a radio show "Organizing on the Air" for 5 years. Porter is quoted often and writes frequently on the topic of organizing for local and national publications. She is sought as a dynamic and enthusiastic presenter. Porter has inspired thousands through her many public speaking venues and distinguished array of clients.

She has written two books:

Organized to Last: 5 Simple Steps to Staying Organized (book with DVD)
and
Get Paid to Win Clients: Public Speaking as a Marketing Tool, a workbook for entrepreneurs.

The program recognizes and raises industry standards, practices, and ethics.

Porter is proud to be an active member of the NAPO. Her industry contributions include:

Porter is a graduate of Middlebury College (Middlebury, Vermont). She lives in Bristol, Vermont with her husband and their two sons.
